This Saturday the Wailoa Center is taking in art for their biennial Abstract Show. I've never really painted an abstract before but Arthur thought we should just experiment and see what we could come up with (yesterday afternoon). I don't know if it will get in the show but it was fun to do. My boyfriend thinks it should be a vertical, I'm just not sure.

abstract show

I do vote for vertical but horizontal looks great in the photo also. Maybe this could be a dry run for a huge horizontal?? I can show Craig how to build the canvas.

I did enter it in the show as a vertical. Keeping my fingers crossed. There were a lot of good entries that I could see including one done with hundreds of matchsticks glued to a canvas, very clever stuff.
