Can't believe that our favorite spot to paint is going through a radical change. I've got about 5 paintings in various stages of completion at this spot. In the name of improving the road, the county is widening the road and thereby cutting down trees to make it "safer" and of course uglier. Wish they had an aesthetics committee. We just found out yesterday of this plan. So arthur and I worked through the night and painted signs--as that was what our council person, Gary Safarik, told us to do. We put the signs on the trees around midnight. I hope it wasn't in vain. Click any photo to see it bigger.
