Fellow island plein air painter Mike Sakamoto recently passed away after a long illness. I will miss his humor (he was always sending us all the funniest jokes) and his kindness and generocity in sharing his knowledge and
friendship.Yesterday, Arthur and I painted at Davis's again in honor of Mike.
These are just a few of the paintings he would email me throughout the last couple of years. I'm glad I can post them here. Aloha, Mike, dear friend.
